The San Bernardino RR Historical Society has announced that the (cancelled last fall due to insurance) trip to San Diego on the Surf Line is back in planning stages for this spring. SBRHS 3751 Also, TrainsUnlimited Tours has an interesting trip set up for April, re-creating the California Zephyr, running from the SFO Bay area over Donner Pass to Sparks and return, with a couple of dinner train trips in between, over a four day period. I wonder what they did to bring this back into the realm of possibility? It seems as though a few steam trips are starting to come into focus on several railroads. It had to be more than just getting costs knocked down. Anyhow, it's sure good news! Boxcab E50
