Yo, Steam fans, on other web forums the news has broken that ATSF 3751 will run from Los Angeles to San Diego and return on September 21, 2003. Steam on the surf line! Any of our members in southern California interested in this?

I was at the California State Railroad Museum last week for a F.R.A. seminar on steam locomotives. The director of the museum took us on a tour to the shops, and you should see the stuff they have in there awaiting restoration! Sitting outside, on but extending way beyond the turntable was a A.T.S.F. 2-10-4, and right behind it was a A.T.S.F. 4-8-4. I can't hardly wait to see them restored.
