The second grain unit train arrived Rainier this morning 06:30 hours. It cleared town in less than ten minutes. The power was four GE C44-9W's 5233 & 1055 on the point and 5159 & 4305 in DPU on the rear. The cars were mostly BNSF in two lettering schemes with some stray grey cars in places. .
The second grain train has already started the return trip. It went through Rainier this morning at 03:30 going east. That is less than 24 hours so the first train 14 April must have been a test run.
