    I have book marked your site and will try it out, but it won't be awhile as the railroad layout still needs track...lol. Amazingly enough, even though there is no track we have the Digitrax chief we have used on a smaller layout while awaiting the larger one to be up and running.

    clicked on your URL and the screen looked liked it was encrypted, could not read it???

    Why are you going to 28 steps, why not 128??

    You should now be able to read my post (see above). I made it more friendly to see and print. In the article it explains why I chose 28 speed steps.
    <UL TYPE=SQUARE><LI>Prototype locomotives only have 7 speed steps not 128.
    <LI>Both Forward and Reverse speeds can be matched instead max voltage.
    <LI>With 28 step, you can more closely match speed between locomotives.
