I've competed another 25-ton. This time I knew how to work with the Grandt Line kit. With my scratchbuild 25-ton I got the idea for the second 25-ton: Here's a first vid: A new engine for Diamond Scrap Company This will be the engine for my scrap yard at Diamond Valley. Wolfgang
Wolfgang, you might consider packaging up the full tutorial into an article and sending it off to Model Railroad hobbyist, along with the video. Things like the bill of goods to make this little sucker are hot!! Very NICE Modeling!!!
I saw your photo in this month's Model Railroader when it arrived today, Wolfgang. The scene was so familiar to me, and I'm sure to many on this forum, but it's nice that the rest of the model railroading world will now be able to partake in your excellent work. Congratulations.
First time I ever enjoyed seeing an outbreat of "Critters" on someone's layout. Last time I had critters on mine, I attacked it with a spray bottle- never saw a cat move so fast......... Ooops, wrong thread... Nice craftsmanship, Wolfgang. Well done! Thanks for sharing. BTW, how may cars will your 25-tonners pull?
You're no more in H0n3? I'm just starting. Here in the FREMO is a growing group of friends interested in H0n3. Wolfgang
