It'll be hard not to look him,, we're having lunch with him one day! Don't forget our other commitment.
I can't do the donut place. I saw it on TV & gained 5 lbs.! Although, there was that place with the omelet that could feed like 10 people. Man this is going to be a blast!

Was that the place where they rolled up the pancakes like a cigar or a newspaper? I could definitely go for them!

I'm surprised no one mentioned Stanich's, a little tavern off of Fremont that has a burger that has Ham, Egg, Bacon, and well, whatever else you need. If you don't eat all the fries, you can just about finish one.
The place at 1212 N Glison also has a hash that will make you cry when you hear all the stuff in it. You guys pick, I'll drive (GPS will Nav) Thursday or Friday dinner or Sat Lunch.
And by the way, I'll bring my camera and take lots of pictures to post.
    JD, I'll see you there.

    the countown...days and hours now...

We put up the convention time-line in the main lobby today at the Jantzen Red Lion and the first sign is up for the 'extra fare'; Evergreen Aviation Museum tour tomorrow; and on Tuesday, the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad. I am on that one...it has always been on the list, I live close by but just never made it.

And don't forget the Public Show in the Grand Ballroom on Saturday, 10:00AM to 4:00PM.

In case you missed the web site: http://nationalnscaleconvention.com/Portland/nscaleconvention2009.html

Hope to see you there. Come down to the Glisan Room to check out the model contest entries and say hi.

    Let's Get'r done!

We arrived this afternoon. Great view of the BNSF line across the river from the hotel.

And, just a reminder to be sure to stop at the N Scale Vehicle Association's table at regitration on Wednesday, or during the Swap-A-Rama on Friday to vote for the N Scale Vehicle of the Year Awards.
