Here are a series of pictures of the 2007 NRHS convention train that was run on the GNRR from Blue Ridge to Tate Ga and return. The southbound trip, the convention goers rode on a charter bus to Blue Ridge from Chattanooga. Then the same mode of transportation from Tate back to Chattanooga. On the trip north, there where no NRHS people on the train. It was opened up for the BRSR volunteers and local to ride on free. The only catch was they had to provide their own way back to where they got on the train. Nice countryside, nice shots. Were these photo run-by's (because I don't see any other fans getting in the way of the pictures) or were you following the train in your car? Regards Ed
These are not run-bys. I was following in my truck. I snapped a few of the run-bys with people in them that may be posted once I sort thru all the few hundred that I took.
