Looks interesting to me as well. I like the fact that prizes are offered, and that 'display only' option is offered. Now if I can get the time together, I'll give it a go - which is the greatest reason for things like this, get us all into action when we otherwise would not have. Looking forward to seeing what happens.
.....Prizes include: locomotives, Intermodal freight cars, containers, trailers, decals, detail parts, Special Run models, Kits, etc. Lots of Prizes too - so make your plans for an entry. Deadline is early September, so there is plenty of time to make a model and enter. Intermodal covers a wide time span - any era model can be entered and any equipment. This will be a fun 'display' of Intermodal related modeling, with some rewards offered by the sponsiors for your efforts !

Contest Ends ! This is just a brief note to Say 'Thanks' for all the entries and support for the contest. Submissions cover a wide range, just like us modelers... I will post some additional comments (maybe an Essay !) when I catch up, but for now, enjoy the Photo submissions. Judging: Judging will be done by a volunteer panel of N scale modelers. As administrator, I am not involved with the Judging, except to send them copies of the entry rules and to receive and post the results sent to me. Mr. Walt Huston volunteered to tabulate/coordinate the judging. I would expect for the results to be available within two weeks. I will then process and send the 'Prizes' that our 2007 sponsors have so kindly donated' The 2007 Intermodal Contest Sponsors are: Athearn Trains, Deluxe Innovations, MLE Scale Models, Microscale Decals, (The) N Scale Intermodal Store, N Scale Kits, N Scale Magazine, S&R Models, Trainboard/Rail Images.
