Someone kindly pointed out to me that I had carried over vestiges from last year's nominations. This year’s categories, New and Enhanced, are a return to the original categories from the first N Scale Vehicle of the Year Awards in 2005. The reference to "Assembled Model" and "Kit Model" do not apply. The Showcase Miniatures’ models are kits, the rest of the models are assembled. I apologize for any confusion this may have created. I like the Trainworx 1956 Peterbilt log truck. I also like the Showcase Miniatures Mack B fire truck. Those are my 'public' selections for this year.

Since the tour buses got a back a little late on Wednesday, and we had to clear our tables before everyone had a chance to vote, the voting for the N Scale Vehicle of the Year Awards has been extended to noon on Friday. Please stop by the NSVA table at the Swap-A-Rama for a ballot so you can cast your vote! We have had good voter turnout so far, but I have plenty of unmarked ballots left.
