i am thinking of converting my 1.5v grain of wheat light bulbs over to LEDs. here is a picture below of what i am thinking of converting. the bulbs are in my stadium lights and each pole has two lights. these are superglued into place. i really do not have to redo them and was wondering if you all had any suggestions.
Here's a clinic I did for the NMRA a while back. http://www.burnhamshops.com/lightingclinic/lightingclinic.pdf A double pole is the same as the single, just put a light in from both directions through the top hole. If you leave a bit extra wire, you can replicate your present lamps with smaller LEDs. Remember, take the rated resistor and multiply it by 4 if you are going to look at the LEDs!
My Dad always told me, "Now, little Delljohnb, if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Of course Dad wasn't a modeler.
