Well today I made a huge mistake, I was down by the Oakland Docks, I did not bring a camera to get new ideas. I saw lots of Inter-model and lots of switchers and sidings. Too bad I didn't have a helicopter to take pictures to share. I also railfanned some UP SD45 going through the produce district past Oakland Amtrak (Jack London Station). But I palced alot of ideas in my head and if I could draw them I would share with all, still learning how to use software(bummer).
You should come to the high desert Mr Wrinkles..... get to watch loads of BNSF freight running up and down the Cajon pass... most impressive. Gonna hafta take a photo one day....
Amongst Murphy's Laws, is the one about seeing many neat things, and of course having forgotten a camera. But it sounds like the day was fun, and generated a bunch of good ideas. So certainly no loss there. You'll just have to get back again, and take a bunch of pictures! Boxcab E50
