Nothing finished this week, but I thought I would throw in a couple of pictures of my PRR Ore Train on the Strongsville, OH Club Layout. The pictures are of Stewart Models Alco C628 & C630 hauling 36 G39 Ore Cars. Rick J

Great work so far. Nice to see big Alcos pulling a train, and Candy's work is delightfully detailed. as always (does that flaming pickup truck belong to the young lady next to it? She has a suitor lined up here.). A livestock train is an ordered stampede. Nice scenery to frame it.
They are just hanging out. She is talking to the owner/driver. .......I made her bouffant skirt. It's impossible to find young girls dressed in fifties style clothes.
Same here - my first train set was with a Shark. Christmas 1973, and hooked on trains ever since. That old loco still runs, too! It takes me back to when I was 10 and running her around the "layout", the track "laid out" on the living room floor. It wasn't long and my Dad made a real layout for me, but I suspect he did a lot of operating when I was away at school (and testing stuff he bought, painted and detailed...). Who had more fun?
Candy, thanks for the memory jog. I'm working on a semi-rural area and scratching my bald spot as to what to "plant". I'd forgotten that I had bought grass mat and other neat stuff from Hobby Lobby's flower section years ago. OK, the second thing to go is the memory, and darned if I remember what was first.
