I know Harbor freight has a know history of "JUNK". Yet I have had good luck with a few of the things I have gotten there. I have several of these and they work real well.

I was in HF getting castors and saw this on sale for $5.00 so I had to get it. What would I loose. It works pretty good for a super duper cheap air brush. It does lines down to about an 1/8 inch or so. Thin paint and low pressure. For dusting colors and weathering, it would do well.

I have this one too. Had a 25% off coupon. One airbrush was real rough and sticky. Took it back and they swapped it out no questions.

I also have (4) passche single action, (2) Passche dual action, Aztec dual action, my old Badger from when I was 10 years old.

To power them I use this little compressor. It is not to loud., yet I would not want to try and sleep next to it.

You could one of those 12v little compressor to fill something like this up. I used an old fire extinguisher I filled at the gas station for a long time. Pump the tank to 120 psi and use a regulator to bring it down to 10 to 15 psi.

    I use this regulator.

I have just started using the desiccant air line dryers. They do a great job of removing the water from the lines. I put this on right after the regulator, then the airbrush hose.

As with everything, there are so many options out there.
