What a superb job! Loved the video - what a great talking point for visitors. Owners of public bars take note!

    That is amazing...

Where are you located? I'd be happy to bring a 6-pack over in exchange for a visit ;)

Great job Eric! A real highlight of your man cave.

I am greatly impressed on how much you have done in a short time.

I am pouring water on my N scale layout at the moment using Woodland Scenics Realistic Water and I'm happy with the results so far.

See the demo videos on the Woodlands web site and good luck with your water features.

Thanks! I'm in FL - I just brewed up a batch of ale this evening. It'll be ready in a few weeks. I keep two 5-gallon kegs of homebrew on tap at all times.
I plan to spend the next few weeknights fine-tuning the tracks and detailing the streets. I have a few problem turnouts for derailments. A #4 and a #6. I also should have the wiring on the turntable done this week.
Hardware store didn't have the clips for the switch I use to select the track power so I had to special order. I had an ambitious plan to make the turntable power switching by itself by running slot car pickups under the platter - but with only three tracks to choose from it was easier just to wire it the old-fashioned way.
Company is always welcome. Not sure how long it'll take before I'm bored with futzin around with the layout - but for now I'm having a blast! I think my favorite part is pushing the DeLorean around on it. I feel like I am 9 yrs old all over again. Except the beer part...

That is really terrific. I just showed my wife your video and made the comment "see what you have avoided because I am not a modeler?" The drive-in movie with actual video is a great idea. Looks like it will keep you busy and entertained for years to come.
    :) :startled:

The Kato 20050 (aka 20-050 and S78S) looks like a much-needed, variable gap filler. I read that it's also used to connect modules. How does this work? I'm guessing that this track will actually pull apart into two sections? Thank you.
