Here is the only caboose I have (no layout, vary little rolling stock-just a bunch of locos on shelves). It's a stock Athearn bay window caboose that I re painted for Nickel Plate. There are a few mistakes, but they don't bother me.
N scale Milwaukee Ribside A welcome new addition to the roster. Oh.... and if it looks familiar, it should, it was done by Marty Coil.
Ash Creek Lumber Co.caboose OK, here is one of mine! It is a Northeastern Scale models, wooden kit. Oh, and BTW, you have all done outstanding work. I can't believe those were Z scale though!
N-scale 1972 caboose interior from junk Not my fanciest caboose, but my first and favorite, because its interior was made from household junk. And painted with a cheap atomizer. Things were a lot simpler in 1972. Scott
A few more old Siskiyou Southern cabeese A half-doxen yellow units were modified and painted (with an atomizer) in Anchorage in 1972 Part of the sale of 3 tuscan-and-orange units was a free paint job in Sacramento if SS would accept Espee's livery.
These are incredibly real looking, very nice work, This is N scale? No way!! Impressive weathering job. Who makes the trucks and wheelsets?
Another Bobber Here is another of my 4-wheel bobber cabeese. This was converted from On3 to On30 and the C & S lettering backdated to the appropriate time period (1899).
ACI Markers In the late 1960's and the 1970's ACI markers were very common. Just gotta have 'em on your stuff. My Espee was of the 1950's but of course the BN is of the mid 1970's.
1972 Caboose Interior Thank you, TJS909. Like all of us, I wish I had the same eyes and hands as in 1972. Scott
