Walnut Hill Dairy module
This photo shows the right side of the module where the tracks on the fill cross a concrete arched bridge. The bridge was carved from styrofoam and placed under and around the 1/2 inch plywood track bed. The five inch wide track bed is the only plywood on the module. The rest of the scenery base is varrying layers of 1/2 inch styrofoam insulation on 1x2 pine supports across the width of the module. This keeps the weight of the module to roughly half of most others with full 2 foot by 4 foot plywood bases. It was built in 1994 and is still in use today.
