The Left Side of the New JJJ&E

This is the left side of the new JJJ&E. The bench work was built in eight individual modules outside of the Train Room and assembled in the Train Room. The bench work is 51 3/8 inches high. This includes three inches of pink foam and 3/8 inch of a very fine grade plywood with no knots. The legs are 48 inches high. The fascia is twelve inches wide. The backdrop is vinyl roof flashing, 24 inches wide and glued to the wall with formica cement. The backdrop is framed with a rounded molding which will be painted the color of the room The bricks and particle board on top of the pink foam are holding the foam in place as I just glued all three pieces of foam to the plywood base with Liquid Nails. The weights will stay on the foam until I return to Texas in ten days. The bench work is 30 inches wide except in the two turnaround areas.
