The "Kimberly Turn" is seen here on a Prairie City industrial siding on its return trip to Ochoco Junction. Upon leaving Ochoco Junction, the KT drops off a cut of cars in John Day for the local to switch the industries at John Day and Prairie City, and picks up cars going to Ochoco Junction on the return trip. The KT does the local switching in Mt. Vernon, Dayville, and Kimberly.
