Nice! What a strange shot: An A-7 (SLUF) with a Davis-Monthan (AFB, AZ) tail code. I worked on these in the early '80s in my Air Force Tech School. That doesn't look like Arizona; where was the photo taken?
That is located in the small town of Cullom Illinois. Yes it was interesting finding a Corsair II next to the tracks. Also of note, I need to check out the national insignia. Maybe the red stripe is faded but it sure looks like a pre 1947 national insignia! This was placed here as a Vietnam Memorial.
