Very nice model! For as much as these three-truck Shays plied the woods I cannot think of very many scale models that have been built.
Sorry, I have just become aware of the comments section here.....tripped over them in fact. It is a pretty sum¤¤¤¤¤....if you're into that sortta thing. All is not peaches & cream with this one. I knew when I dought it that it was "only" DCC ready. I didn't know that 2 of the trucks were stripped out/broken....it was advertised as new. I have a decoder comming (with assistance of this site) and a got a truck repair kit. I have an ever expanding bucket list....when I finally have time to sit down at the bench.....weathering (at least 5 engines worth) is in there but I have a RR to build first. I'm not bulding Ely-Thomas.....that is in the list to be taken care of. I've been mulling over names for my RR. Pretty much decided to name it after a local stream.....Burnt Bridge or Salmon Creeks are the candidates.
