      If memory serves, this is former Pere Marquette 1088, one of four Russians assigned to the PM for about six months in 1919. At that time, its appearance would have been much as built for the Russian government. I wonder if the Russian cab/ tender canopy was appreciated by PM crews during the Michigan winter.
