Railroad Wetlands

This is looking accross the West Fork of the Trinity River bottoms. The girder in photo is about ten yards from the bridge it once helped to make up. This view is looking towards the river. What can't be seen is the actual bridge over the river proper. This was the I&GN line that used to connect to the former Rock Island line that ran between Dallas and Fort Worth. The connection with the Rock was where the TRE Centerpoint Station is now.
