Tomorrow at 10 AM they plan on moving this engine out of the Museum of Transportation in Roanoke to the NS shops to prepare it for the move "home" to be restored to running condition. I will see if I can get some photos.

Yup, caught it. They have removed all the removable "collectible" artifacts like number boards, lights, builder plates, bells and whistles so that the collectors won't get them en route.

Glad to read those pieces were removed. Some "collectors" in recent years have become ultra bold. :thumbs_down::angry:
