I bought the FRED kit from a model RR swap meet. I think it was only $5, so I went for it! I had to cut a tiny hole in the underside of the autorack to install an on-off switch. It's powered by a tiny battery, not track power. I've had some problems with the light. Even with a fresh battery, it doesn't flash very bright. Still haven't gotten around to fixing it yet.
