Milepost 31

Railroads use different styles of mileposts along the right-of-way. This Cast Iron relic came from the Baltimore & Ohio railroad's branch line between North Vernon, Indana (hence the NV 31), and Louisville, Ky. The opposite side displays L 27 for miles to Louisville.
