Contest entry Kit-bashed Gunderson Maxi-Stack Well car DTTX 73157. Gunderson Maxi-Stack kit-bashed from a Deluxe Innovations Twin Stack model. Modifications include removing Twin Stack bulkheads, cutting down the height of the intermediate car ends, addition of container guides and brackets, fabrication and relocation of brake gear for A and B units, and adding brake gear and protection plate to unit D. Various etched metal sets from N-Scale Kits, Deluxe Innovations, and Gold Medal Models were used to complete the walkways. A combination of Microtrains and Atlas trucks were used with Fox Valley Models 36" wheel sets. Paint and weathering was added to simulate a former Southern Pacific lettered Double Stack 125 Service car. - Scott Stutzman
