JR class 485 EMU bound for Hachinohe on Honshu and a connection with the Shinkansen and an ED79 class electric loco on sleeping car train for Tokyo at Hakodate, Hokkaido, 19/02/06. Unrebuilt 485's in the old JNR red & cream colours were getting scarce and there were several Japanese railfans taking photos.
