Never before seen an exoskeletonized truck in a rail yard.... I have seen them in rockcrawling competitions!
Interesting application. I wonder what it adds? Visibility? Doesn't look strong enough to provide protection? Boxcab E50
I doubt it is ultimate protection, but rather a layer of protection that would keep the cab from being totally crushed by an errant container. Seems like it would allow occupants to escape unscathed or with only minor scratches. I wonder what accident prompted this exoskeleton?
