Dry Lake Water Tower

Not sure of its actual age, but sign on it said last painted March of 1968. I believe last used for Farmer John hogs that use to go west to LA. Before that who knows? Steamers?

      Appropriate site name, for a water tower!

      I recall the Pentrex video about Gibbon Junction, Nebraska. They showed some stock (hog) cars stored there. I wonder if those were the cars used? And are they still there? Probably long gone?
