DME 20th Anniversary

OK. Let me just say right off the top. I know this was a SD40, not a SD40-2. I am a paid painter and do what my customers ask. After a heated debate on the topic of 40 vs 40-2, I just caved and said "your model". I still want to show this off because of the graphics which I designed. See the inset. Mind you this is, as with all my work, N scale. So the detail once transferred to a model is often lost. The large hood decal is only 15mm x 7mm (roughly) The small cab side version is only 5mm x 2.5mm Even a laser printer has issues with printing that much detail in such a small space. Feel free to clip the art out of the photo and use it. The script on the hood if you have a way to print it is simple "Brush Script" font. Of course, if you don't happen to own an Alps or know anyone who does. I am always available to make this for you. If you model DME or CP and want one for your collection. Yes, we can do it on a SD40. Ha ha!
