DAV&P G scale scratch built Roundhouse
The round hose is the largest completely scratch built building on the DAV&P. She covers a foot print of 6 foot by 8 foot, NOT counting the 3 foot long turntable. She has 6 stalls. The interior is complete from the timbers that hold up the building down to the mechanics and there tools. Even the machine shop is scratch built! The exterior is weathered brick with wood trim. The roof has over 900 shingles. Yes I had to cut and glue each one in place. The round house took nearly 6 months to build.
