Coupler installation!

Here you can see with the couplers removed the installation of the Red Caboose Unimate Couplers (RNP-51080). You will only need to use the coupler and the box but not the lid. The couplers were cut flush after the first hole. The box' were trimmed down in height to match the shank height of the coupler. A coupler box was then modified with a countersunk hole on the bottom. Box' and couplers were mounted with a Hob-Bits Flat Head 00-90 Screw (H842). The screw was originally 1/4 inch and cut to just shy of 1/8 inch. You can find Hob-bits 00-90 Flat Head screws in 1/8 but I didnt have them on hand at the time. It is important to note that if the screw is TOO LONG it will cause the coupler mount to push downward, thus effecting coupler height in comparison to the height guage. This is the problem with the original Accumate screw causing coupler height to be effected. **I've modified this installation, before proceding check Part II!**
