This is the still active Bayshore Rail Yard in 1977. -In the foreground, a train is ready to hook up with a loco. There are quite a few classification tracks... still with many types of rolling stock on them. In the background is Tunnel 4, part of the commute line to San Francisco. Middle-right is the Bayshore yard tower, to the extreme left remnants of the once-extensive Bayshore shop complex.
