Canoers on Laqatlas River
Two canoers enjoy a fall day in 1958 along the Laqatlas River. In the background, a Bunter Ridge, Raton Pass Southwestern RS1 chugs southbound. The "Laqatlas River" got its name because the river was poured and the scene created while waiting (forever) for Atlas to get code 55 turnouts in stock again. The river does not yet have surface ripples applied.
