Canadian Pacific Holiday Train Sturtevant, WI Dec 2007

The Canadian Pacific Holiday train paid its annual visit to Sturtevant, WI on its way west from Chicago. On Saturday Dec 8, 2007 the train stopped and visitors enjoyed 1/2 hour show from the traveling stage in a box car

      Actually there is a pedestrian walkway over the tracks. It is a nice vantage point for photos. In summer it would be a nice place to sit for a couple of hours and enjoy the weather and trains.

      Aha. A friend who is a Milw/Soo employee told me about that walkaway. I'd forgotten about it. Maybe next summer you can spend some time there. :D
