This particular diorama is based on the switching puzzle that existed at Hull-Oakes Mill near Dawson, Oregon. This is that mill that has plans available for free online throught the HABS/HAER site.
Also, it was fun meeting our own Satokuma there yesterday. I didn't know he was there or what I looked like and I ended up sitting next to this guy who turned out to be an N-scaler...hmm... from Tualatin... hmmm... who then mentioned something about coming up to my club at some point... hmmm... then he said had had some discussions with SteamDonkey74 from my club and I put out my hand and introduced myself.
