John. Great backdrops. They were the first thing I noticed in the photo selected in the weekly galller. Interestingly, that Muensch Kresuer Candle company building is right next to where I park my car for work (Syracuse, NY). Gotta admit these old rust belt cities make great subjects.
Thanks for the comment on my backscene photo. It really brings things to life knowing that folks actually know the buildings on my backscene. All of the photos I used are from the discs available from Larc Products - http://www.geocities.com/larcproducts I heavily relied on the older distant buildings from Rochester to represent South Chicago in the 1930s!!. Many of the larger buildings are not annotated with their where-abouts, so you may spot a few more from your area. Jon
