Black Texaco TCX1728

Modern Atlas steel car with old-time tank car Microscale decals. I don't remember the exact car color, but it is a slightly off-black.

Looks nice. What time frame would it fit best?

For the car type, 1965-1985, I would say. The decals are turn of the (prior) century, around 1905-1910. Probably in the time after JD Rockefeller monopolized tank car traffic in the 1875-1895 era. OTOH, Texaco was always one of the independents JD could not control. Pure Oil was another, IIRC.

Sounds about right. I remember working, pumping gas during my youth, at a Texaco. "Fire Chief- It's localized for you...."
