Base for Helix as at 26 April 2008

The helix itself will rest upon this base, 17mm thick MDF screwed to 1x2 lying flat (not standing up). The base itself is resting on a framing made from 1x2 and 1x4, which in turn has both legs and shelf-brackets to the wall. White foam is the ramp from the yard ladder to the first support. Note where the supports are marked, only in pencil so not overly visible.
