Approach signal on HOG

This signal is on the HOG line about 1/2 mile east of the CSX/NS diamonds. This line was originally the mainline of the Savannah, Americus & Montgomery RR, and later became part of SCL, and then CSX. It was spun off to Railtex in the 198ps as part of the Georgia Southwestern, and after GWSR was sold off by RT successor RailAmerica to private concerns, this line (Vidalia to Preston) became the Heart of Georgia.
