Spring Lake Iron & Steel Charles Wesley Works

Here is my HO Steel Mill made from recycled Materials such as cardboard, pizza boxes,CPVC pipe,poster board, spray cans etc. It has 8 Blast Furnaces, 6 open hearths & 3 Bessemer converters, bi-products plant, coke works, Conversion, blooming & rolling Depts plus ore bridge patterned after Bethlehem Steel. Layout is under construction and will have modules for set up in other places. It is a fairly good representation of an Integrated Steel Mill. My 1st Scratch building Attempt. Mill year is 1968

Here a GE 44 tonner pushes slabs into Blooming Dept as a Plymouth 30 tonner does the same thing. These are bound for the Heat Soaking Pit where steel will be heated and formed into semi finished steel. Prototype building is Bethlehem Steel
