AlbemarleDivision

A "Preliminary" Bubble Plan of the new Albemarle Divsion. The layout will reside in an open attic of approximately 960 SF including the HVAC Closet. Attic finish will occur Spring/Summer of 2013 with layout construction starting immediately afterwards.

      Interesting track plan. Do you ordinarily operate it as a rondy-round with trains originating and terminating in staging via the HVAC closet? Or as an out-and-back using the reversing loop?

      Thanks for the question. Actually no. This was an extremely early and "aggressive" plan. I modified this plan to make sure the track was all in conditioned space. I wound up avoiding the HVAC closet. The basic schematic is the same. I have the plan that I loosely prepared on Autocad for the signalling but haven't uploaded it yet. It is basically a double track dog bone folded around the room. The staging yard is single ended which is fine, given that it is not a modeled area per se and operates as "fiddle yard".
