1870s B&O Camel locomotive.

My favorite loco- #217 the Camel. The Camel type was originally designed by Ross Winans for hauling heavy freights over the mountains. This arrangement put all the weight on the drivers. The B&O had many camels from 1850-1875. Only 2 are still left. This one was damaged in the train museum roof collapse, but has been taken to the restoration facility.
