These must have been made between the transistion of Charles Ro to USA Trains time period. USA Trains did continue to make some of the current Charles Ro trains until USA Trains changed the stock numbers from 4 digits to 5 digits. The only stock numbers that were not changed over to 5 digits were the work train series and the outside braced woodside box cars. Another nice fact is that when USA Trains started to use 5 digit numbers such as R19001 which is 5 digits and a letter, they eventually started to mix in steel side American Series 1:24 scale ratio box cars. The American steel side box cars series were eventually replaced with the Ultimate series 1:29 scale ratio and so USA Trains is back to making woodside only box cars again in the American series

Identifying what couplers you have and what type metal wheels you have will help in the sale of these items.

These are both Woodside box cars, the USA Trains version should be advertised as the American Series which is a 1:24 scale ratio. Make sure you let buyers know these were made during the transition time period so they don't think you lost a box somewhere, but I see you have the original tgas still on the boxes. Sometimes when the boxes get old or stored in hot ares, the glue softens on the sticker and it falls off.

Here is a ebay tip, when you have 2 similiar trains like this in the same road name, never list them in the same weeks auction, list one a different week from the other
