Keith, the series was numbered 96550-96749. Just about any MP freight car set should do you, as the reporting marks seem (to me) to have been fairly standard in type-style.
I just photo shopped the image to change the numbers so far. All three are still 96599. I have some MoPac decals from Oddballs that I plan to use eventually.
WOW! That weathered car looks cool. Maybe the next car can come weathered. I know I buy one almost every month. Anyway, behind the diner & thru the trees, look what I see.
I used a borrowed camera tonight (forgot my shiny new one) so I apologize for the out of focus, but here's one up at Portland Area N-Trak, on a quick Milwaukee Road move.
Well I finally got mine after a slight detour of my own doing so thought I would share as many have. Mike
Mike that car is WAY TOO CLEAN! At least in comparison to the covered hopper behind it (which looks fantastic FWIW).
The MI car has arrived on the D&H and has been pressed into service. Now I need to photograph the car and make a car card for it. Nice work guys..!
Uh oh, because of the Rock's deteriorating infrastructure, the underside (not seen) has seen some damage and has been bad ordered and shoved by Rock switcher #777 in for service. I know, I know, I already posted this car's arrival here on the Rock Island. I couldn't help myself.
I parked the car on my favourite scene on one of my T-TRAK modules which is also my layout. Getting loaded with lumber for a return trip to the USA.
Some shots of the car in Toowoomba, QLD, Australia at the Toowoomba Heritage Royal Show, loaded with Showbags no doubt.
