The fascia is now black and the gaps filled, but here's a nice meet at Crescent, CO: The view over the top of Tunnel 26 on an eastbound coal load:
I really have not done any scenery yet, just painted the wood and ballast...but here are my favorites so far...
That's the best I have And may not do any better one. This one isn't too bad. Seb Envoyé depuis mon GT-I9300 avec Tapatalk
I really like how you used the browner shade of grass to represent a watery/boggy area. Interesting thoughts are starting to form in my mind as to how I could incorporate something like this in the future. Thanks for the ideas!
TrCO, I was planning to pour some woodland water to add more realism to the river bed but don't want to ruin the effects I have. Thanks for the comments. Envoyé depuis mon GT-I9300 avec Tapatalk
This is one of my favorites from my old layout. All I have from my new layout is a little video I threw together....
I can see your point with that. I feel that half a mm would really make it, but I don't know of anything that would allow you that thin of a pour :-/ DieselFan, really like the rock-work in your picture and video, how do you make it?
Fast set drywall mud (the kind you mix yourself) and Woodland Scenics rock molds. Painted after it was all dry. Pretty easy really. I have a lot of rock work on my new layout that I need to get some pics soon.
Well, it isn't my favorite, but I just want to contribute....looking East across the Mississippi river...
Yeah! I'm still pretty afraid of ruining everything! I guess I'll have to build a small "trial and error" diorama. Keep the pictures coming guys.:thumbup:
