Here is the latest on my small strip of scenery on the front edge. I got the Fifer Hobby building in as well as the nursery and scenery around the Auto parts distributor. Thanks , Mike
That looks really good Mike. Lots of action going on on a small strip of land. BTW...I know you've mentioned it numerous times...but what ballast do you use ? I believe you use ARM to ballast Unitrack. I just cant find the product code in your posts. And on that note...do you carry it in stock at Fifers ? TIA.
I really like this view. The camera angle puts me trackside in a very well done scene. It feels as though alive.
I know all too well, Mike. Being a father of 3 young kids, it gets hard to find the time to work on trains.
Mike, I seem to remember you mentioned something about using electromagnets for uncoupling instead of regular magnets. I can't remember however if you ever did a video or talked about them again? I know I'm asking about things that are a number of years old, but I'm knee-deep in planning for a large paper mill complex in Unitrack and am very leery about the prospect of trying to pick couplers apart manually between the tanks, buildings, pipes, telephone poles and wires, etc. etc. etc. At the same time I'm leery of passive uncoupling methods due to their penchant in my tests for uncoupling cars I don't want uncoupled. TIA
Thanks Chris , I did have a couple in but now prefer to uncouple by hand. They work well though. Here you go. Mike
