CP Multi Mark Grant Sar's Kit Hemi's Paint job My Fantasy Scheme Just had to get these in here. Fantastic work Gran and Hemi. Now I _must_ get a layout going.
Very spartan... You took the pic right from my camera, Steve! I just wish my camera took better macros. The detail on these units must be seen to be believed. I would run one, if I had the spare FT set. I would like to see more 'Peaks & Valleys' or the rails running thru them on the scheme. Maybe make the Pink Fox logo bigger on the flank of the unit? Maybe the P&V slogan as well. Would be a breeze to paint, however!
This is the best I've got :embarassed: I'll have to redo this one of these days (my old layout, using my old digital camera, painted with my old airbrush that i was just learning to use at the time). I like 'em though. :shade: Ray
Nope, Dash 8s, a couple of cheap Bachmanns I bought at a show. They were painted for UP, so I figured I'd make them more my style :shade: . Lead unit (5130) is a Dash8-40CW, trailing unit (5123) is a Dash8-40C. I think I paid $10-$15 each for them. They actually run quite nicely. The well cars are MDC models that were $4 each in BN livery, I basically just removed the BN heralds and replaced them with keystones. Ray
Not much of a scheme, just the initials for lumber-company owned shortline connecting the mill to a Santa Fe trunkline... a slow train from yesteryear. But the initials for Johnston and East Texas spell out JET Yes, that IS the conductor's dog riding on the platform of the caboose. Model based on Texas South-Eastern, which used ex-SP cabooses, like this MicroTrainsLines model.
ok so I finally got off my butt and did up a idea for a pair of Kato PA/PB's I have had around. Kinda reminds me of the old AF Stuff.
FP45_in_CP Multi Mark I hope you can see this if not the link is provided: http://picasaweb.google.com/Asymmetrical.Embracer/FP45_in_CPMultiMark Hemi did a FANTASTIC job on my Fantacy CPs There will be more images later.
Steve They look fantastic, Hemi is quite a gifted individual. Congratulations on the addition to your roster.
Instead of motive power as a fantasy scheme, how about some varnish? In this case an instruction car. GN had a often photographed instruction car # X-1828 Fire Prevention Instruction Car. There was also X-1820 that preceeded it on the GN roster. I just answered the question of what ever happened to X-1820. It ended up on the SP&S roster like a lot of older GN equipment. And with some $$s thrown in by several logging companies, plus GN and SP&S funds it continues to serve on the SP&S. Thus my version underway.

Just ordered two of the Walther's 10-6 sleeper cars. One Great Northern and one undecorated. The undecorated will become:
Here's my SD90Mac. It's going to have one brother and two sister unit's in the Black Wedgie scheme soon as well as some SF, BNSF red and silver Warbonnets ( as soon as I get more of them of corse )
