Monarch Vista sides are now stripped washed with dawn and rinsed with distilled water Their drying under a covered plastic tote just big enough to keep dust or other things off them Maybe get lucky and shoot some paint tomorrow Then on to the Royal Vista big dome final scrub dawn rinse dry More to follow when the news breaks on the WNW
Careful with walthers gn paint had a faint trace of 91% isopropyl alcohol on my gloves fingers touched the sides and paint lifted where my fingers touched
More incoming news post pics once their here Scored another GN Big Dome in undecorated that's #2 for the business train Scored a couple of MDC Harriman cars getting them for the roofs to convert the roof on my athearn heavyweight obs to an arched roof All for now
Okay gang here's the 2nd Great Dome it arrived today undecorated yessssssss he shoots he scores But one thing I'm going to ask for y'alls help here Diner is the Monarch Vista Great Dome #1 is the Royal Vista Looking for help in naming Great dome #2 Can either be ? Vista Or Vista ? The crowns will be done on the decals So here's where y'all have fun need a name to either precede or follow Vista
I detect a royal theme here! Vista Palace Chateau Vista Coronation Vista Vista Princess (or vicey-versey) You get my drift.
Thanks Mike that gives me a start Yup Vista because of the dome views Regular cars will have a few royal names like the Monarch Vista is now just the Monarch Or city names like a coach that's going to be the Dodge City Obs that'll be the Wichita Plus it's the WNW Business train Thanks for taking the time to say something and it could always stay Royal also
Ok y'all I'm using a new paint from scale modelers supply out of Australia first time using it tonight sprayed straight from the bottle at about 28-20 psi thru my Pasche #3 tip air brush It's an acrylic laquer use laquer thinner to clean the brush Mint is the primary color inside my business cars Within 10-15 minutes I could touch it fully Best place USA to get sms paints is from Gundam USA search sms paint Scott one of the bosses is trying to get a rail line of paints done eventually At the moment he's got Au/Nz railroad colors Scott does listen to his modelers So anyways here's the insides of the Monarch Vista 68 seat walthers diner in sms mint green
So these two Harriman cars arrived in the mail today as I'm going to use them as a parts source to build my athearn heavy weight business car with the round roof why I got 2 Will also use the steps and mdc obs end window piece since mdc made it separate
The WNW must be pretty flush with $$ to able to afford all the repaints LOL. You really want to make them mad, black line the GN lettering a restencil WNW.
