Plum is a great looking color but man those pearl flakes do not do that N scale truck trailer justice. Everything else looks great Carl. Where would I find this Molotow chrome paint if you don't mind my asking
Another update. 1st image is the sleeper, repainted tractor fenders................ 2nd image is of the two bulk trailers. One on left represents a new ready for delivery unit and the right one represents a previously owned, used, and abuse unit. Actually the finish on right one looks pretty good. Look at how the small printed detail parts show up. Fantastic................. Nice work on the print job Mark! ! ! Thanks for looking and always have fun, Carl
It has been 20 days since I last posted, time sure flies when having fun ? Here are 3 images of one trailer that I have, I thought, finished today. However, since pictures do not lie, I see a couple of things that need to be corrected. The off loading hose is too large in diameter and the paint around the tail lights needs attention. At any rate you get an idea of where I am at. BTW, the red tractor is not for this trailer, just as a prop for the shot. The real tractor has the white paint drying and I will let it sit for 3-4 days before touching it. Also, don't pay any attention to the 0402 LED and wires wrapped around the rear end, not planned. Please, if you see anything that needs to be looked at, let me know. As always, have fun, Carl
That trailer looks really great Carl! Other than fixing the tail lights you mentioned, I don't see anything else that looks off. If fact, I would have never noticed that the off loading hose is too big. Hard for me to even see that knowing it.
Maybe I should bring you my 1954+ TOFC cars so you can paint them to ‘53 Daylight PMT, Carl! Looks amazing.
Could not resist, so here is an image with the cab/sleeper test fit. Also shows the new rack of snow chains. What you think??????????????????????????????? Thanks for looking and as always have fun, Carl
